Πύργος Αθηνών emerged from quarantine as an anonymous, faceless electronic music project that marries analog and digital elements with urban poetry. Their work evokes human emotions through the silent presence of Athens’ modernist architecture, stripping the human voice of its intimacy to transform emotion into a form of architecture itself. After debuting with the EP 210 and the LP 11527, their latest release, 37°59′05″N 23°45′39″E, further explores themes of loneliness and memory, positioning Athens as a silent yet vital narrator.
Given their unique approach to music and identity, how do you think the absence of a traditional band structure or social media presence influences the listener’s connection to their art?
