Bootblacks has released their new single "Leipzig," which embodies the nightclub futurism of the late 20th century. Featuring evocative saxophones from Oskar Carls of Viagra Boys, the track explores the personal sacrifices made on the dancefloor in the quest for connection. This single, released on May 9, is the fifth from their upcoming album Paradise, set to drop on June 13 via Artoffact Records. The album includes contributions from notable artists like Chris Vrenna and Alice Gift, marking Bootblacks’ first full-length release since 2020.
Leipzig’s rich musical history adds depth to the song, connecting it to a legacy of independent music and dark subculture.
