Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, a pivotal yet controversial figure in art and music, is honored posthumously with the remastered release of Early Worm, a collection of experimental recordings made in 1968 when they were still known as Neil Andrew Megson. Capturing the essence of early psychedelia and avant-garde sound, these recordings, initially pressed onto acetate, include contributions from P-Orridge’s father. Released by Dais Records in celebration of what would have been P-Orridge’s 75th birthday, the album is available in various vinyl formats and is a tribute to both Genesis and their partner, Lady Jaye.
How do you think P-Orridge’s blending of personal narratives with avant-garde art has influenced contemporary creative movements?
