Jamie Blacker has released the music video for "Don’t Leave Me Here," the fourth single from the latest ESA album, Sounds For Your Happiness. Filmed by Myles Fearnley at Antwerp Mansion, the video features contemporary dancer Chloe Briggs, whose poignant movements echo the song’s themes of fear and detachment from caregivers. Blacker, drawing from his own experiences as a father, explores childhood anxieties and his family’s fragility, creating a deeply intimate and emotional piece. In contrast to the more elaborate "Golden House," this track offers a raw, introspective take on vulnerability.
Sounds For Your Happiness envisions a haunting world where emotional responses fuel a sinister tech company, sparking a reflection on the implications of our emotional data in today’s digital landscape.
As we consume and share our emotions online, how do you think this impacts our real-world connections and the way we navigate vulnerability in relationships?
