Ray Noir has released a new music video for “Mad World,” a politically charged ballad from his latest EP, Against the Machine, which debuted on September 18. The song, co-written with Madeleine Wood, reflects the alt.-queer artist’s views on oppression and survival, emphasizing his experiences in a world marked by corruption. Notably, “Razorblade Romance” features guitarist Steve Stevens, while “Dead Valentine” includes contributions from Maxine Cahell and Evan Mansell. The EP, now available on Bandcamp and major streaming platforms, delivers emotionally resonant themes of love and defiance from a queer perspective.
Noir will celebrate the EP’s release with a series of performances, starting with an EP release party in Milton Keynes on September 19.
