Japanese-born, Chicago-based dark ambient artist Ryo Utasato has signed with Arcane Dirge to release “Pilgrimage of Fire,” the sixth full-length album under his project Maris Anguis. Featuring seven ritualistic tracks, the album explores the duality of the finite and transcendental human experience amidst an “age of fire.” Composed entirely by Utasato, this release follows his March album “Lamia” and continues the prolific output of Maris Anguis, which saw four albums and an EP debut in 2024. “Pilgrimage of Fire” drops on October 10, with pre-orders available now on Bandcamp.
