After over a decade of singles, compilations, and an EP, New York’s dark electro band The Sedona Effect is set to release their first full-length album, The Year of the Snake, just in time for Halloween. The album features 10 tracks that showcase their distinct blend of gothic/industrial, EBM, and darkwave, led by frontwoman K Kalliope’s captivating vocals. Among the tracks are three singles that previously appeared on the Cross the Line EP and other compilation features, including a noteworthy cover of "Gloomy Sunday." The album will be digitally released on October 31, with pre-orders available on Bandcamp.
In conjunction with the album launch, the band will perform on October 18 during a special Gothic Vampire Cruise in New York City, featuring various goth artists and DJs.
