My Swedish friend Freddie has revived his dark synthwave project, Terrorbit, and I had the pleasure of contributing guitar to two tracks on the new EP, appropriately named Resurrection: “Shinjuku Vampire” and “Neon Blood.” Having been part of Terrorbit’s earlier era, collaborating again was exhilarating, especially since synthwave offers a fresh perspective compared to my usual metal riffs. It’s a reminder that stepping outside our comfort zones can lead to valuable learning experiences.
