Electro/industrial metal artist Ben Blutzukker is set to release his latest album, Laut und Deutschlich, featuring 14 tracks that reinterpret gothic, rock, and metal classics in German. The lead single "Der Hund von Baskerville," inspired by Black Sabbath’s "Paranoid," cleverly weaves in literary references and showcases collaborations with Mambo Kurt among others. Notably, the music video is animated with LEGO blocks, adding a playful twist to the project. Pre-orders are available, with the album dropping on January 16.
What do you think is the significance of blending classic metal themes with German culture and language in today’s music scene?
