SUNN O))) has announced their self-titled tenth album, their first new full-length release in over five years. This album is notable for being created solely by core members Stephen O’Malley and Greg Anderson, marking a fresh creative direction influenced by their recent live performances. Recorded at Bear Creek Studios, the album’s environment provided a relaxed atmosphere that fostered new ideas. The first preview, “Glory Black,” is set for release on April 3 through Sub Pop Records, featuring artwork by Mark Rothko and contributions from nature writer Robert Macfarlane.
