Night Ritualz, the Texan darkwave and synthpunk act, has released “Un Tiro” as the final teaser for their upcoming album Time is a Thief, set to drop on February 20 via Metropolis Records. Contrasting the gritty urgency of their earlier single “Whoreish,” “Un Tiro” channels early ’80s moody romanticism, blending Latin and Tejano influences into its pop-infused sound. The accompanying music video features Vincent Guerrero IV wandering through the city at night, reflecting the track’s melancholic atmosphere. This release follows “Whoreish” and “Brown Skin,” although the album will not include the previously released single “Piensa En Mi,” a cover of a classic Spanish song.
Given the rich fusion of styles in Time is a Thief, how do you think the incorporation of Latin influences reshapes the darkwave and synthpunk genres?
