Last Saturday, I was thrilled to discover the new single “Dream Of The Blitz” featuring Zeus B. Held and Claudia Brücken, released via Bandcamp. The track includes four mixes and originates from Rusty Egan’s album “Romantic,” which I had unknowingly missed since it’s streaming-only. Each mix has its own flavor: the upbeat Cupido Mix serves as the radio edit, while the Deep Dream Mix offers a dubby, nostalgic vibe. The Dream Control Mix bursts with Technopop energy, and the Poetic Mix dives into minimalism for a more intimate experience.
It’s wonderful to see such collaborations breathing fresh life into synthpop and New Romantic sounds.
