UK metal band HERIOT has unleashed their new music video for "Commander of Pain," the latest single from their debut album, Devoured By The Mouth Of Hell. Produced by Erik Bickerstaffe and mixed by Randy LeBoeuf, the track pays homage to 90s death metal, reflecting the band’s diverse live experiences. Vocalist/guitarist Debbie Gough notes that it’s a tribute to their favorite elements of heavy music.
What do you think draws modern bands to invoke the sound and spirit of earlier metal eras, and how do you see this influencing the current metal scene?
