Bristol-based noise collective KNIVES is set to release their new EP, REGLITTER I, on November 19th, the first part of a two-part project following their debut album, GLITTER. The EP features reworked songs and new material, exploring collaborations with artists like Carson Pace of THE CALLOUS DAOBOYS and DEATH GOALS. Drummer Erin Cook highlights the creative synergy brought by their collaborators, while vocalist Jay Schottlander expresses surprise at the innovative direction taken for their song “THE DAGGER.”
What do you think about the trend of bands reworking their previous material and collaborating with other artists? Does this enrich their creative process or dilute their original vision?
