Mike Peters, the iconic frontman of The Alarm, succumbed to a long battle with blood cancer at the age of 66, a struggle that began with lymphoma in 1995. Despite extensive treatment, including an aggressive clinical trial, his health worsened last year, leading to the cancellation of a US tour. Known for hits like “Sixty Eight Guns,” the band made a lasting impact on the music scene, and Peters also championed cancer awareness through the Love Hope Strength Foundation. He leaves behind his wife, Jules, and two sons.
