On July 25, vocalist and visual artist Aurelia and producer Icarus Moth will release their collaborative EP Prometheans, featuring the single “Fractured.” The track, described by Icarus Moth as a sonic reflection on how sadness can manifest as physical pain, includes contributions from Echos, who highlights its roots in electronic music. With frenetic rhythms and potent electronic textures, “Fractured” encapsulates themes of longing and emotional release, coalescing Aurelia’s haunting vocals with evocative melodies. The EP follows previous singles “Supernova” and “Abrasive,” and digital pre-orders are now available on Bandcamp.
Considering Aurelia’s background in visual arts and her personal journey through mental health, how do you think her artistry in music and visuals interconnects to enhance the narrative and emotional depth of her work?
