Las Vegas industrial/metal band FleischKrieg has released a new single, "Generation H8," serving as a critical reflection on contemporary society through a dystopian cyberpunk lens. Inspired by a line from The Matrix suggesting the apex of human civilization occurred in the late ’90s, this release follows their June album Herzblut II and marks their first new material since the "Eve" single in July 2024. Written and produced by Richard Cranor, "Generation H8" is available on Bandcamp, showcasing the band’s evolution under the remixing talents of Logan Mader.
Given the song’s themes of societal disillusionment, how do you think music serves as a vehicle for expressing collective frustration and envisioning alternative futures?
