GLIITCH, a French trio formed by Eva Madini, Laurent Langlade, and Emmanuel Castel, draws inspiration from noise and punk bands like Shellac and Fugazi. They’ve garnered a dedicated following through impactful live performances and a D.I.Y. spirit. Their debut EP, A Fire Inside, featuring tracks like "Rock On" and "Dark Dancer," is set for release on May 23 via several record labels. Previously known as DONE, the band is actively planning more live shows throughout the year.
What implications do you think the D.I.Y. ethos has on a band’s ability to connect with their audience in today’s music landscape?
