Dan Barrett has released the Memorywipe EP, the latest installment in his cyberpunk project Aetherium Nebula’s ArcSec City series. Featuring three tracks that evoke a "future garage for waking up half-dead in a forgotten alley," the EP serves as the third chapter in ArcSec City III. One standout track, the Mk-II version of “The Girl with Dead Eyes,” reimagines a piece from the prior series, exploring themes of memory loss and the haunting remnants of pain. Following the May release of the "Sewage" single and the initial Separation EP in April, this EP further enriches the narrative woven through the six tracks of ArcSec City III.
As the series explores the intersection of memory and identity in a dystopian landscape, how do you think music serves as a medium for processing collective trauma and the human experience in cyberpunk narratives?
