Hailing from Matera, Italy, God in a Black Suit has gained attention since their 2020 formation for their introspective songwriting and performances. Their second full-length album, Thresholds, released on May 16 via Missing Fink Records, blends post-punk, new wave, and indie influences, exploring themes of inner growth, change, loss, and the struggle for balance in an invasive society. The band previewed the album with singles "A New Life" and "To Forget," both accompanied by bonus tracks not included on the album.
What do you think it is about music that allows us to connect so deeply with themes of personal growth and societal challenges?
