Henrik Karlsson, prior to partnering with Dan Barrett at Arcane Dirge in 2023, was already establishing his Subverge project, which focuses on dark ambient soundscapes. His latest release, Select, features introspective and meditative tracks edited from his four previous albums, alongside three unreleased pieces. This collection, released via Aliens Production on January 8, marks a reflective period for Karlsson amid personal challenges and serves as the first of a two-part series.
