Steve Blanco, bassist and keyboardist for Imperial Triumphant, is set to release his sixth solo album, Echoes of Dead, on December 17. This ambient synth record features a single 45-minute live track recorded at Solaris Sound in Nashville, enhanced with post-production layers. Describing the album as a reflection where "the listener becomes the instrument," Blanco’s work follows his previous release, Imprints of Man, which offered piano interpretations of Imperial Triumphant’s songs. The album will premiere with a Bandcamp listening party on December 14, ahead of a performance by his band at the Jazz From Hell Festival on December 12.
