Jesse Draxler, co-founder of Federal Prisoner and acclaimed artist/photographer, has announced the release of his latest single, “Falling/Floating,” in collaboration with Black Asteroid. Featuring Ian Astbury of The Cult, this single merges dark electronic sounds with Draxler’s unique visual collage style. Set for an October 31 release, the “Floating” B-side will be a Bandcamp exclusive, continuing the lead-up to his upcoming album, Working Title. This album follows his 2020 project, Reigning Cement, showcasing a lineup of impressive collaborations.
How does the intersection of visual art and music influence the way we experience and interpret sound in collaborative projects like Draxler’s?
