Minneapolis musician Mach FoX has unveiled a new single, "Biteback," marking his first solo release since 2022 and paving the way for his upcoming album, Chaos of Man, set for a digital and cassette release in October 2025. The album features seven tracks, originally meant for a third Zwaremachine record, with contributions from his late bandmates following their recent departure. Concurrently, FoX debuted his TRAJ side project live at The Seward Cafe. "Biteback" is available on Bandcamp as a name-your-price release.
Given the emotional context surrounding the new material and the tribute to his late bandmate, how do you think personal loss influences artists’ creative processes and the themes explored in their work?
