After a 12-year hiatus, Evan Collingwood has revived Psykkle with a self-titled EP set to release on November 10. This new material updates the band’s aggrotech roots to a more refined yet heavy sound, featuring contributions from Elijah Hennig of Ivory Sound and Vision. Collingwood is also planning an expanded edition for 2026 and a new full-length album following 2013’s “Mother Monoxide.” Psykkle originally gained traction in Alberta’s underground scene, known for their dynamic live performances, before Collingwood’s move to Nova Scotia inspired this new phase.
