Joe Reineke and Karyn Gold-Reineke, known as Society of the Silver Cross, have announced a U.S. tour from September 14-28, following their recent single “Until the Chains Come Off.” Recorded in a gothic temple in Seattle, the song explores themes of liberation and self-discovery. This tour comes on the heels of their sophomore album, Festival of Invocations, released last June, and showcases their unique blend of Indian influences and contemporary gothic elements.
What do you think contributes more to the emotional depth of their music: the gothic aesthetic or the cultural textures they incorporate?
