It’s been two decades since Jochem Paap, known as Speedy J, launched Collabs, a platform for artist collaborations, highlighted by the 2005 album “Collabs 3000: Metalism” with Chris Liebing. They’ve reunited to release the “2025 EP,” a four-track collection that continues their exploration of intricate techno and abstract soundscapes, with playful artwork by Maurizio Cattelan. A 20th-anniversary reissue of “Collabs 3000: Metalism” will follow on November 14, featuring remastering by Liebing and original art by The Designers Republic.
