Italian vocalist and composer Valentina Buroni has unveiled her latest EP, Lullabies From the Dark Ether, under her ATMAEN project. This new release continues her exploration of music’s connection to consciousness and well-being, featuring ambient soundscapes combined with processed piano and wordless vocals. The EP serves as a transition between wakefulness and slumber, and is previewed by the single "Blue Ghost," released on October 3. Set to drop digitally on December 12 via Inertial Music, the EP reflects her ongoing commitment to using music as a meditative and spiritual practice. Notably, it continues the artistic collaboration with Swedish artist Niklas Sundlin, who provided the cover artwork.
What role do you think ambient music plays in enhancing mental health and well-being, especially in our increasingly fast-paced world?
