Crematory, a longstanding gothic metal band from southern Germany, has released their 17th album, “Destination,” after 34 years in the industry. While the album features 11 new tracks and a cover of Type O Negative’s “My Girlfriend’s Girlfriend,” it generally adheres to the band’s established sound without introducing significant innovation. Critics note a lack of excitement and repetitiveness in the songs, making it more appealing to devoted fans than to new listeners.
